Does anyone of you hear the click noise from under the hood when A/C is on?

Hi guys,
I notice that sometimes there is a kind of clicking noise from under the hood when the A/C is on. The noise is like when electric fan is working and
you insert a piece of paper or plastic into the blades.

Also, whenever I hear this noise and my car is idle for waiting the red light, the RPM of my engine goes up from about 750 to 1400. I can also
hear the noise when the car is moving sometimes.

I still can't tell under what situation the noise show up, it seems no certain pattern.

Does anyone of you have similar experience?

ps. My car is 2007, 3.0i.

Thank you, thunder22, I have this problem also, but only once or twice a year. Last time I heard the click-click was almost an year ago.

The situation I describe here seems different, because if I turn off the A/C the noise disappear. So I am sure it is from the A/C system, just don't know what it is.
