Spare tyre on E70?

In the UK we have run flats and no spare wheel/space saver. My old E53 however had 20" y spokes and a standard size spare wheel which I assume had the same rolling radius.
My question is the USA do you have an option of having a spare wheel inside the car? I have seen an option to have one on a cage that is located outside the car but really wanted a traditional spare.
Thanks.

Run Flats with a large storage space under the Cargo Bay floor are standard in the US. You can give up the storage space and have a spacesaver spare fitted in its place for $150. There is no full size spare option.

You can buy the complete kit from a UK dealer, you should be able to get it for £180 inc VAT from the parts department. I managed to get mine for £140 but it was second hand but never used and only 2 weeks old, someone bought it then did not want it and got the sales department to sell it and i made them a bid.

FYI, while looking for something else, I found the BMW part number for the retrofit compact spare kit.

36110007376

Seems to include the jack, etc. to match what comes from the factory if your order the spare tire option.

As mentioned earlier, only if you do not have the third seat, as it fits into the storage area where the third seat folds into.
