X5 pictures at the Zentrum

Here are some pictures of the car at the Zentrum last week. Nothing fancy, but nice shots of the museum.

Also some pictures of the spare tire (much more substantial than I though - good peace of mnd). The PCD center installed the factory hitch. It does look a bit unfinished, and you can see the muffler behind, but I won't be seeing it, they guy behind me will.

The diesel fill funnel and gloves - just in case you have to use a truck stop fuel pump......(not to self, time to schedule my annual physical ).

Nice pics! Why didn't I think of going back there and taking a picture in front of the fountain?

A bit of black heat-resistant exhaust or cooking grill paint on the muffler would improve it quite a bit.

I'm nervous about painting, as it will peel, chip or burn off over time, then look worse........ If you can stand the view, then I can

You're right, of course, but because of it's location a great paint job isn't necessary... a quick spritz with the spray can again would fix it up.

but, as you said, who ever sees much of the back of their own vehicle, particularly that low in the back.

Is that the standard way for a hitch install in the US? In Australia they used to do it that way but now have much smaller cutout....?
