Noodles is on a distinguished road
Had DEF warning last night as well @ 4300 miles. About 5 miles after that I had a engine malfunction sign crusing on highway. Nothing major, drove home. Took it to dealer this morning. Didn't get a chance to pull the code before dealer, since my bt tool is out of vins, i'll have to get a new one along with JBD soon. Anywhoo, they pulled the codes and on invoice, it was 4C9E & 4C9F. Just says associated with EGR valve. No hiccups or anything, runs like a champ. Been trying to dig around for the codes description but haven't found anything really.

I was aware of dealers not topping off the DEF outside of interval, but when I asked my SA how much it'd be to top it off, since i was prepared to just have them do it and pay to get it out of the way. He tells me don't worry, we're absorbing the cost on this one. Pretty cool dealer i have, they were the ones that helped me out with my e90 buyback resulting from 3 HPFP failures. Can't really complain.
