Where does flashlight go?

Other BMWs I've owned, flashlight had a plug-in in the glove box.
I just picked up 2008 4.8i a few days ago.
It had flashlight in armrest compartment, but was not plugged into anything there.
I've looked around, couldn't find the rechargeable plug anywhere.
Where is the rechargeable plug for flashlight in 4.8i?

Thanks,

There is a tray for it in the center arm rest. Griot's has a rechargeable that plugs into the 12V outlet for about $25.

IIRC Porsche sells theirs for $48!

Rechargeables use to be really nice, but now that they have rather bright LED flashlights and Lithium AAA batteries that will last for years and run the flashlight for many hours, I think they're a better option.

LED Flashlights and standard flashlights for Sale at CoolFlashlights.com

P.S. I've never used the vendor in that link and cannot vouch for them... I just used it because it shows the range of LED flashlights you can get nowadays.

If you want a really nice flashlight, do a search on "Inova." I've got one of their small ones for motorcycle camping and they are really nice -- but expensive.

Consider yourself lucky, mine didn't come with a flashlight...
