Thanks.

Well this is how the car came as. I bought used.

I am just wondering if its fixable and if so, is it by changing the navigation dvd or they need to reload firmware onto the idrive?

any ones input would kindly be appreciated.

It's interesting that Switzerland does not have English, as all the BMW rentals I've driven in Germany are installed with Deutsch, Italian, French, and Englisch. If it's not on your vehicle, I suppose you would need to have new iDrive firmware installed on the vehicle.

ok, so the whole firmware needs to be replaced?

is this something BMW dealers do often and would putting an english firmware be of trouble?
