I guess it's possible. On my car, they kept re setting the light and it kept coming back on until they finally ordered the part. Then, I drove around for 3 months with a check engine light. It might be you were getting used to the X3? It's hard to say.
I know you got your car back faster when you were driving a loaner. They had me driving my own vehicle with the check engine light on. Did they pay your toll charges? Craig
