I think they are photoshoped pics.
Somebody borrowed the headlights and taillights from e90 3 series.

Well, I doubt that is a photohop job. It's from one of Germany's biggest and most respected car magazines (though I prefer AutoBild), and if you click the link, you'll see that this is the pic they are using for their front cover. I doubt they'd put a photochop on their front cover.

That the headlights have a resemblance to those on the 3er makes sense. It's all about "branding." BMW wants people to look at a car and KNOW it's a BMW (roundel or not). It's the "look" they're trying to achieve, I guess... Look at the 5 and 7- series.

If these are official pics, they look really nice!
I feel bad because my 06 4.8is will look dated in a year.

Gonna have to wait for it to grow on me. Did'nt like the original when I first saw it, hence it was originally the wife's car. Sure grew on me in the end though!

My initial reaction when I saw those pics is that they're photoshoped. I think they might be. In the second pic, zoom in a little and look at where the rear seats are. They're exactly where they are right now. There is the same amount of room between them and the tailgate as now. I have no idea how there'd be a thrid row of seats back there.

It just seems like the photoshoped area is the windows and above to bring the roof down a little. The front headlights are exactly the new 3-Series headlights. Nothing else seems difference up front.

I think it just seems wierd that it's soo similar after 7 years of production. If these are indeed real photos, I don't know what it means that my initial reaction is that they're photoshoped. I guess we'll find out for sure in January at the Auto Show.
