You know, I had the same feeling when I bought an E46 6 months before the e90 came out, and then sold it 4 months later....you know what? I regret it big time..I still look at the facelifted e46 in the midst of all the e90's and still ...I mean I love the e90, but it DID NOT make the e46 look dated AT ALL, IMO of course...

Im pretty sure it will be the same case with the e53's...BTW, What is the new designator for the new X's?

It has the 4.8is wheels ,front and rear bumpers and even the fenders are smilar to a recent X5.The side view, in particular ,is very similar.
Photoshopped?I would say yes ,because BMW wouldnt release a new X5 with
"old" model wheels..............................

I don't mind it all that much, not as drastic a change as I thought there would be.

I wish they would put the M3 style hood buldge in the hood though, always liked that on my M3. Takes away from the "I could be a mini-van" look.

If it's photochopped then the person that did it should work for BMW because it's better then what I saw from them. However, I don't think BMW would have released photos either because when I contacted them about the 2007 X5...they gave me the "it doesn't exist" bs like they do will all new models.

Photos state "computer retouched"

Most of the photos on the site state "computer retouched" and give credit to the source that retouched them. Seems to me that means they are computer generated.

Other photos on the same site list BMW as the source, instead of the above source. That suggests that these are not from BMW.

But, as long as we are gazing into the crystal ball, something even better than the new X5 artist concept pictures, is an artist's concept shot of the M5 Touring. There is also an M5 long wheelbase ( ), but a touring.....
