No floor mats on 35d?

SA told me that BMW USA is not currently delivering 35ds with floor mats, and had no idea when they'd be back in stock.

The dealer stuck some clear plastic sheeting/generic mats, that they cut from large sheets with scissors.

Any suggestions? Is BMW really backordered on the floor mats or did my SA steal them out of this vehicle to stick into another X5?

Does anyone know of any good aftermarket companies? I'll pay for them at this point. I just need some nice quality mats, desperately (I use my car for business 6 to 7 days per week, picking up clients, etc.).

Thanks for any recommendations, advice, etc.

When I took delivery, I also had to wait on the mats.
A few options:
Unless you're stuck on the carpet option, look into the all-weather mats or even liners (try your parts department)
or try
WeatherTech Automotive Accessories - Car Mats, Floor Mats, Cargo Liners, Side Window Deflectors and More

I will sell them to you for $70 free shipping if you are in the continental US. Color is Black. Let me know soon and you can paypal me since i will be leaving on vacation!!!!!!!! Yes..............

I didn't get mine during delivery. But was told that they were back ordered.
Any way my dealer fedexed those after a week as he promised me all weather mats when I placed my order.
I haven't opened the package yet as it's been full of snow every where.
I want to put them on once I clean the car. For now I'm using some temp mats bought from walmart for 10 bucks.

the weathertech... are pricey and they fit OK. Expected a bit more as far as fitment is concerned. Im generally happy with them but like I said.... the fitment could be better.

Just get the BMW all weather mats. That's what I've had in mine since day one...

They are available but slowly. I didn't think my X5 would include them, so I ordered some from a place on EBay. They back ordered them for a week and then shipped them.

Carpeted mats with a diesel can be a problem especially if the apron around the pumps are as messy in your area as they are in mine.

Not stock. It is an opportunity for the dealer to bend you over immediately.

I passed on the carpet mats and put in black rubber...I handled the installation myself and saved an hour labor.
