Seat Calibration

I can say this my first issue with my 07 4.8, about a week ago the battery went flat, that morning on start up the display showed 1800 miles till next service(the car has 46000 miles now).

I had jump started the X5, everything went ok except the display is showing 9000 miles till next service, and the driver seat needs to be calibrated, well I did follow the instruction in the manual for calibrating the seat with no success.

the question is it normal for the service interval to reset itself with jump start?

what is seat calibration exactly, is it a sensor went bad or a blown fuse, the seat is fully functional( i have the comfort seats)?

Had the exact same issue, battery went dead, and after jump starting the car, Seat calibration came up, followed the instructions for about 100 times, but it took a trip to a dealership to fix the problem.
