Should we take the extra concierge service to get the option of mailing google address to your NAV on 35d?
That's what my CA told when I asked about. If it is included for the first 4 years, how can I assign the mail address to the car? |

Concierge service is not required. Your CA supplies your email address to BMWAssist (regular service) when they set up your Assist. Once that's done you send the addresses by finding them on google, then look for "send" click that and then select "car" and then "brand" then fill in that address you supplied to BMWAssist. After that go to "messages" in iDrive and it will be there.
Your CA should have given you a tutorial on this at delivery

As the above poster stated, you don't need the concierge pay-plan to send addresses to the car from Google (MyInfo). As your CA didn't go over this with you (correctly), all the information you need is here: BMW North America
However you do need the plan if you want to have Google Search in the car on the iDrive screen. Convenience Plan info here: BMW North America

But this guy tells me I don't have that option, though he says BMW assist has been activated.
He never asked me any mail id. Some thing wrong? Is it possible to do it by myself? |

See my post above. Do yourself a favor and stop talking to your sales guy
. Go to your car and push the SOS button. It will call BMW and tell the operator you want to set up your assist account (or confirm that it has been set up). They will have all of the information you need. Make sure you confirm the email address they have on file for your, as this is the email address you will use when you are on Google maps and sending information to your car. They will also offer you the convenience plan and there you can ask all about it. We chose to skip the plan, as both my wife and I have smart phones.

True. I know he doesn't know as much as I know.
I'll call SOS as soon as I go home. Should my phone be connected to talk to SOS? |

The SOS button is not connected to your phone/bluetooth. It's its own communication device that contacts BMW. Don't worry about connecting your phone to use the SOS button.

I guess its a paid service.
![]() What are the requirements to be able to use MyInfo via Google Maps™ (http://maps.google.com)? If you are driving a 2008 X6 produced 4/08 or later or any 2009 and later BMW Assist-equipped BMW (except X3) and have a valid BMW Assist subscription, you will be able to send and receive the destination and phone number in your vehicle through MyInfo. Pl correct me if I am wrong

Technically, yes, it is a paid service. However, read this from BWM's site:
