Accident in X5

I got in an accident in the X5 a couple weeks ago. It was a 5 car accident which happened on the highway. A Cayenne Turbo was speeding and lost control and started hitting random cars. The Cayenne hit a 5 Series which started spinning and hit me. My car spun out once but I was able to gain control before hitting the divider.
Luckily no one was injured. The person who started the accident was arrested for driving a friends car without a license.

The accident may not seem like much, but it was estimated at $45,000, about $33,000 after discount. The car was repaired with all new parts and wheels.

Thanks. It is repaired. I had it done right away.

I don't know why it is upside down.

Man that was spendy. I hope everything works right afterwards. It doesn't look too bad.

wow, glad everyone is OK. Very surprised the repair was estimated at $45k! That could buy you a used X5. Scary

Thanks. Yeah it doesn't look too bad, but the price was insane. My car was not the worst in the accident as I was able to gain control. The 5 series was totaled, and the Cayenne was pretty much wrecked as well.

how much did your x5 spin out? 360 degrees, 180 degrees? i thought with xdrive it should help with the stability.

I would say 400 degrees before I was able to pull out of it. I am not sure about the xdrive and how it works.

Glad you are ok. How will you be compensated for when you go to sell or trade and the car fax show's extensive damage in an accident?
