Gas and Break pedals can be moved forward and back in some makes. I know with the way BMW gas pedals sit it can not be movable. But I am thinking they might have come up with something.

Hmmm, you can move your seats forward or backward so you're closer or farther from the pedals :- ) Not sure that answers your question though. Don't understand what you mean by movable. Are you referring to adjusting the travel distance of the pedals, like making it deeper or shallower when depressed ?

It means that the pedals move back and forth as an unit for drivers with shorter or longer legs by pressing a switch. My 99 Ford Expedition has it.

NO THE Pedals ARE NOT ADJUSTABLE, whatsoever on any X5 model.

Your an idiot.

In regards to OP question I know what you are referring to, I own a service garage and see all makes. Ford has a great set up with their adjustable pedal bracket. See it often on the trucks and I think I seen a Taurus with them also. To my knowledge BMW does not offer this option at least my 07 does not and I had it equipped with all options.

My 2010 does not have this option. Spring for the comfort seats and you wont have any problems!

BMWs accelerator pedal is on the floor, unlike some other makes' which is hanging from above. Unless BMW changes this, I don't ever see them making adjustable pedals.
