Is the production closed for 2 weeks ?

My 35d went into production on Dec 23rd. As somebody mentioned if the production is stalled for 2 weeks, it probably is sitting there with half of the interior parts. The rest is retrofitted when they come back. I am worried about quality with production taking place like this, 2 weeks apart.

I would not worry about it. Really. I think the production line workers will be better rested coming back from vacation as well.

Interesting...I received a note from my CA today letting me know the expected delivery date (arrival at dealership) of our car is now pushed two weeks. He initially told me to expect delivery by the end of the year. I called the 800 number & the automated system says that our car has completed production and is awaiting transport. How would a two week production shut-down delay delivery of a completed vehicle?

Probably because they are closed and they are not shipping any out and your BMW is just sitting there until they open again.

Just spoke with customer support, production is not closed for 2 weeks. It is still in full speed.
