I couldn't agree with ABMW more. I traded an 2008 X5 4.8i for a 2009 GL550 MB. I made the trade because we needed more room for our tow kids. Especially as a family hauler. In retrospect, worst decision I could have made.
Plastic door trim, cheap interior quality, gushy ride, and just can't stand it. I can't wait to get back to my BMW. I am going to get rid of the GL550 this coming winter 2010 for a 2011 X5 3.5d. I will take a loss, but honestly, I don't care. I will lose a little bit to get into a better riding/driving/built vehicle.
