Preview of a few recent mods

Just got the X5 back today from the shop blackout grills, painted bumpers, extended wheel arches, and magnaflow quad exhaust tips..

I'll be taking some better pictures next week once doors pieces are painted, and front air ducts are done.

Next mod will be wheels or rear spacers until the wheels they are much needed with the new wheel arches 18's defiantly aren't wide enough!

Nice job! I have a Alpine white and may want to do that too. Post more pictures with the front/rear bumper and arch.

WOW - gorgeous. What's with all of the white X5 owners taunting me?!? :-)

Really nice looking. That's it - I'm getting my roof rails and grill painted gloss black.

Thanks-Im going to post some better pics next week they still have to paint the air ducts, and door pieces. I think I may order 20-30mm spacers for the rear until I get rims in March the arches come way out..

There is a lot of talk around this, but there not much options on the way the magnaflow tips are designed. They did a spot weld to get in as close as possible, but it does look great in person.

Total cost was $1600

Painted Bumpers, Reflectors, Side Skirts (+installed), Wheel arches (+installed), and exhaust tips welded\installed

102-Two sets of Magnaflow tips
259-Wheel arch extensions
107-Blackout Kidneys

So, Im all in without rims so far around 2k.

Some new pics today..removed the badges on the doors..doors\airducts will be painted this week, and gotta order spacers..

Thoughts??

1.) Should I go with 20 or 25mm HR rear spacers? It's only temporary I plan on getting either 22" Vellanos VRI 285 tires with ET40 or 20" 214 Style Powdercoated Black (Most likely will be the 20's with the city driving I do)

2. I was trying to play around with photoshop, but I cant decided if a) paint everything black in the air duct and the bar inside b)paint the entire thing black and the bar white c) just paint the bar inside black and leave it white as it is now
