Break in Oil Change

For those of you changing your oil after the break in, at what mileage are you getting the oil change? Are you doing it right after the 1200mi mark?

I'm doing it soon, and my X has about 2k miles.
15k miles is too long for the first change.

I did it at 1,500 miles... I mean it hardly matters: 1000, 1200, 1500, 2500...all a vast improvement (IMHO) over waiting a year or 10-15,000 miles.
