Are you sure it is 5.1 for the RR and not 5.9? Also, is that the Sport Supercharged, or classic supercharged?

Anyone have the 0-60 for the RR Classic Supercharged (510HP)?
I could live with 5.1, but 5.9 is a bit high for me...

Those were Car & Drivers figures for the Range Rover Sport Supercharged with 510 horse power.

They just recently did a comparo between the X5M, RR SS (510 h.p.), CHerokee SRT8 and Cayenne Turbo S. The RR SS was the slowest by far. Over a half second off the pace to 60 as well as the quarter mile. The X5M smokes it by over a second to 60 in their test and 1.2 seconds in the quarter mile.

I ordered a X5M and paid $150k already(non refundable), but I cancelled my order to see if I could order an individual with Frozen grey exterior. Now I am split between the X5M and RR. I currently have a 09 4.8 and a Denali. I need one SUV for sure, and the RR seems like a better bet because it suits the Dubai conditions better. My X5 is getting recked in Dubai. Plus I don't need a 4.8 AND an X5M.. (trade in!?)

I am in construction and drive in dirt all the time, plus I live on a dirt road. I also drive up curbs a lot, and do dessert driving quite a bit. The RR is better for this.

I could (would) have been driving a Lambo LP640 which is all the speed I could have needed (and Owned any car), but being only 20 and seeing a tragic event occur in front of me I am going to hold off a couple years before getting an exotic...

1. Maybe fix your signature?????

2. You paid $150,000 non-refundable? So why bother canceling? Take delivery of the car and sell it for $10... you'd be $10 ahead.

I fixed my signature!! Happy!?

I have no need to buy the car and sell it for $10 lol
I could probably push for a refund, but I don't mind having credit with BMW as I will still get an X5M (Trade In) and also probably a X6 Hybrid for my mom.

I guess I didn't expect it to be that fast, but I was comparing it to the X5, not the M so it makes sense.

Anyways this thread was to compare the X5, Range Rover, and X5M. Not about what I am going to buy and my decisions.
