Don't drive hard. The fronts are down to the wear bar on the outsides with uneven wear. Dealer is going to put on Conti Extreme Contact DWS that I ordered from tire rack. On my 4.8is the Diamaris wore our usually by 20k. What I don't like is how loud the front tires have become as they have worn down. Could probably get a few more miles out of the fronts, but can't stand the tire roar.

Same here that is why I changed mine out for the non-run flat vredestein's. Road noise is horrible when the Dunlops get worn. I could not carry on a conversation inside the vehicle because of the noise.

Mine is just a dull roar, depends on the road surface. Still annoying. Now I hear a faint humming sound whenever the fan is on (goes off when you turn it off)!!!

Oh well, will ask when new tires put on tomorrow.

Oh yeah, do I need an alignment? Four new tires, but SAV has always tracked straight and have 14500 miles.

I had the faint humming as well (nothing to do with the tires). BMW did replace the fan on warranty. It went away for a while, but sometimes it does come back usually on cold days when and the fan is on low speed.

Wouldn't hurt to have an alignment done. Have them set the toe at the min. side of the spec and maybe you'll get better wear.
