Whats the best you were quoted on 20" Dunlop Supermaxx

runflats recently.. i paid $440 for the 275/40/20(fronts) back in Nov 07 and was quoted today by dealer $492.. Tirerack $445. (deleivered to my door)..if i bought from Tirerack and and had it installed by dealer would they do it? I also bought Tire insurance from the dealer when i purchased the X. Would the new tire from Tirerack be still covered by insurance or does it have to be purchased from dealer?

Try living in the UK! I've just forked out £1200 for a full set - 275/R20's at the front and 315/R20's at the rear. I got 27,000 miles out of the original set and I don't have a particularly heavy foot.

I did a lot of shopping around and this was the best price I got - the average for a full set seemed to be around £1400 online.

I paid $2,500 for all 4 here in Dubai about 2 weeks ago.
Had to replace my set after only 21,000 miles.

My fronts are loud and don't look like they have much tread left at 13000 miles! Thinking about switching to something else.

You'll have to ask dealer, but don't know why not. Tell them the TR price, might match it. BMW dealers normally have top notch mounting equipment.

TR will ship to your installer. TR sells tire insurance separately, dealer would not carry over.

Is dealer price inclusive of mounting balancing? Need to consider total cost to drive out!

My dealer offered to mount and balance the tires from Tirerack. I got 14k miles out of them and they were shot. I decided to go with Toyo Proxy II's All Seasons. They are not runflats and the vehicle handles and rides so much better!!! I purchased the spare tire and jack kit from BMW and will no longer go with runflats. As a matter of fact, one of the rear 20 inch alloys had a fracture most likely due to the "hard" runflats.
