![]() They fit so poorly that they would wiggle loose and eventually drop out. After several back and forth emails with them, and a video to prove the terrible fit, they finally agreed to take them back. They said that they have a no return policy on installed lamps, so after they saw the video of how poorly they fit, I was granted a return authorisation number. I do not recommend these lamps at all due to the very poor fit. They actually tried to blame the vehicle for the poor fit and not the bulbs! If you want to see the short video of them installed, please follow this link: On a side note. I am not sure of the quality of the Xenesis bulbs. A friend purchased 2 sets of H7 lamps, and after only 2 weeks, one low beam lamp has already burnt out. They do offer lifetime burnout guarantee, but you have to pay the postage to get them. I do apologize for the problems you experienced, Kirkinner.
To our defence, I have tested the bulbs in my X5 and the fitment seems fine. I did not experience the same fitment as you did. The Xensis bulbs come with a lifetime warranty. We wouldn't put a warranty on a product that we would have to replace every other week. We would rather put a warranty on a good quality product that we have confidence in that will last a couple years before needing to be replaced. Otherwise, if we were replacing bulbs every other day for customers, we would have to raise the price of the bulbs to justify giving the warranty or take the warranty off completely. Just my opinion. We also offer the LED halo upgrade that is specifically meant to upgrade your halos, rather than just a generic bulb replacement. If you are concerned about the fitment, this would probably be the best way to go. Again, I apologize for your experience. If there is anything I can do to assist you in the future, please do not hestiate to contact me. |

Please post the evidence of the "fine" fit. I doubt that the X5 is to blame for a poor fitting lamp. I think readers would appreciate seeing a picture of the actual lamp before install and installed. A video such as I have provided would be helpful as well. Thanks Steve@Bimmian for your concern, I look forward to seeing the results of your fit test.

...well, it looks like the Bimmian guy may not be able to provide us with a video and pictures of how well his Xenesis H8 bulbs fit in their E70 X5.
I think that we can determine from my video, that there is likely a fit issue. |

The video that I said I would provide, as I stated in our previous email correspondence, was going to be taken on my own time (since it is my personal vehicle that I installed the bulbs on). Also, as I stated in my previous message, I would post the video at my earliest convenience. Thanks.

No urgency whatesover on my part (although members would like to see I'm sure)...after all, I am not in the aftermarket light business.
I can tell you though, it takes a few minutes to do. Good luck and thanks. |
