Gorgeous photos, too bad the EXIF is stripped I would love to see the specs on the equipment and shots (edit: found it on your site)

I especially like this one, then I perused the rest of your website Awesome stuff!

Thanks for all the compliments everyone - photography is another of my hobbies; combining cars and photos usually nets good results for me

The camera is a Nikon D3, the shots were done with a few lenses - Nikon 24-70 f2.8, 80-400, and a Zeiss 85mm f1.4.

I installed the mud flaps, which I initially thought were a bit wide and clunky looking, but necessary in WY to keep rocks off my boat and others' windshields.

With the mudflaps in place, and the 20" OEM fender flares, it was immediately apparent that spacers would be needed. I installed 30mm spacers in the rear, and will be installing 20mm spacers in the front once I get the new lug bolts (backordered). Bringing the wheels out with the spacers really helped make the mudflaps look less hokey.

(If I lived in other parts of the country, I would not use the mudflaps, but here they are a necessity).

The wheels (style 232) were take-offs from an X6, and strangely I had to grind down the wheel bores on the front two to make them fit the hubs. I only had to take off a little 'edge' at the start of the hub, about 3mm wide, grinding them down about 1-2mm. Very strange though that they don't just fit to begin with.

In any event, here's some photos from the other evening, starting around dusk and continuing into the evening as the full moon came out...

(plates from former owner, still waiting on the title to get WY plates)
Did you have to use any spacers on the rear ones since the offset for the rear style 232 wheels is ET18 and the offset for the X5 wheel is ET48? Thanks.

Love the second one with the mountains in the background.

Thanks. Those are the Tetons, here in Jackson Hole. They're probably the most famous lumps of rock in North America...

OutfookinStanding Pics, Sarge!

Coincidentally, I snapped this pic, in almost identical location as your Teton Range shot, this summer on our 13,000 mile Road Trip.

My Canon 40D was glitching for much of the trip and this shot was taken with f'd up color bal and exp settings. And, it was high early afternoon with a lot of haze in the air...those are my excuses.
I like your photo much better.

About the same place, just different time.
