i was thinking of getting black grills for my x5, and i found some on ebay. do you guys think it is a good idea to puchase one of those on ebay or do the dealerships sell them? i was also wondering if its a good idea to install them myself.. is it a simple task?

thanks

I bought them from here...they are just as good as the OEM if not better. I was going to paint my oem's, but I drive too much so they'd get chipped.

Its a real easy install..one you take the stock ones out..try to get a second person to hold the piece, and then use a pair of plyers and flat head screw driver to remove the rubber piece. Once you put the rubber piece on the new ones its very easy to just snap back in..I think it took me 10-15min max.
