I would like the steering wheel to stay put and not move everytime I get in and out of the vehicle.

If the dealer says it can't be disabled, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that it can't be disabled.

The best you can do is set it as far in and up towards the dash as your driving position so that the driving position is the same as the entry/exit position.

Changing my seating position to accommodate a stupid feature that can't be turned off is ridiculous. There has to be a way to turn this feature off. It is just electronics, and there is a program already in the vehicle to turn the feature on. Now it just has to be turned off. I am not giving up hope that easily.

I don't understand why you would have to change your seating position or want to turn off this feature.

It moves the wheel out of the way for you to get in and out and puts it back to your setting once you are in. What's not to like?

I'am sure you all know, it's to give us easier access in the X.

But i think the reason BMW and others have this feature is because, i'am sure if we did not have this option, we would all be on this forum complaining why there is no such option.

Thats human nature.

So i guess it's better to have it
