My apologies, I was wrong. I was confusing it with the 'seat last position' setting. Sorry.

You don't have to order it if you don't want it...

It's part of a package in the U.S. market.

I seemed to have stopped mine somehow. When I manually move it, the motor still works (both telescope and tilt), but it just won't move to the default position when I get out the car anymore. I kind of like it this way... so i didn't mention it to the dealer.

get the software updated. I've had mine updated twice and both times the steering column has stopped telescoping. Needed to do the reset procedure ot get it working again!

Unfortunately if you get it updated and then the dealer resets, you're back in the same position.

I've adjusted mine several times... but it doesn't move, reset it self every time I get in and out ..... maybe if you save the seat position then the steering position is also stored in memory so it doesn't move every time you get in and out....

I went to the dealer yesterday to get the steering wheel auto entry/exit, turned off. They said they could not turn it off even when they plugged into the vehicle with their computer. What gives? How can this steering wheel position entry/exit feature be turned off?
