Thunder22, This is all on the CD that came with your x5's documentation. The CD is in a hard cover paper sleeve. It contains the warrantys of all the tires manufacturers including Michelin. In the Michelin section, there a clause which is a specific program for ZP tires. This is an assurance plan over and beyond the usual warranty. I am pasting it below. But as I mentioned, lets wait until I settle the claim. Only then will we know how much Michelin covers:

The ZP Assurance Plan
In addition to the limited warranty coverage described above, Michelin®
Self-Supporting Zero Pressure (ZP) tires also carry Michelin®’s exclusive ZP Assurance Plan.

Most tire punctures can be repaired if the puncturing object is removed at
the first sign of the tire air loss. No tire, regardless of its quality, is
indestructible and even a self-supporting zero pressure tire can be
rendered unserviceable by road hazard injury. If this happens, Michelin®
will replace your tire under the same terms and conditions described in
“HOW REPLACEMENT CHARGES ARE CALCULATED.’’ This ZP Assurance
Plan is not a warranty or protection against all road hazard injuries. It is an
added value to the consumer which provides for replacement of tires that
come out of service as the result of conditions not covered by the limited
warranty.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THE LIMITED WARRANTY OR THE ZP ASSURANCE PLAN
Tires which become unserviceable due to:
- Incorrect mounting of the tire, tire/wheel imbalance or improper repair;
- Misapplication, improper maintenance, racing, underinflation, overinflation
or other abuse;
- Uneven or rapid wear which is caused by mechanical irregularity in the
vehicle such as wheel misalignment, (a measured tread difference of
2/32nds of an inch or more across the tread on the same tire);
- Accident, fire, chemical corrosion, tire alteration or vandalism;
- Flat spotting caused by improper storage;
- The addition of liquid, solid or gaseous materials other than air, nitrogen or
carbon dioxide (for example, waterbase sealers or balancing substances);
- Ozone or weather checking;
- Use of Michelin® Self-Supporting Zero Pressure (ZP) tires without a
properly operating low air pressure warning system;

HOW REPLACEMENT CHARGES ARE CALCULATED
MICHELIN® SELF-SUPPORTING ZERO PRESSURE (ZP) TIRE
If a Michelin® Self-Supporting Zero Pressure (ZP) tire becomes unserviceable due to a workmanship or materials condition or a road hazard injury during the first 24 months of service or before 50% of the tread is worn, whichever occurs first, Michelin® will furnish a comparable new Michelin® Self-Supporting Zero Pressure (ZP) replacement tire at NO CHARGE. No charge will be made for demounting/mounting/balancing, but the consumer will be responsible for paying any other dealer charges and applicable taxes.
