Anybody had problems with USB ipod connector cable ?
Anyway - when I hit a bump tonight the same thing happened again on different track / albumn etc. When I reached in and jiggled the cable it started cracking and carrying on - so appears that cable is faulty. any of you guys had to anchor down ipod to stop cable connection movement between ipod and connector? I'm taking my cable back to dealer to ask for a new one - I'm then going to velcro the facker down to stop future 'jiggle' issues (might be something you want to do too)

That happened to me once or twice in my 335. I figured out if I unplugged both wires from the car, & plugged them both back in, the problem seems to go away. I *think* it's a problem with one of the plugs working it's way a bit out of the jack.

My 335xi has the same problem. It is especial bad in the winter when he cable gets cold. The cable is a cheap piece of junk and has had to be replaced twice since depending on how i hold my ipod (or my mouth
it sort of shorts in and out between speakers or treble and bass. Take it back to the dealer and have them replace the cable. It will only get worse. |
