FWIW here is the mpg (US) graphs for our 2009 35 delivered in Aug. '09. One is by mileage the other by date. These graphs are based on a fuel log where we write down every gallon we put in the 35d and at what mileage. We attempt to fill the tank each time. The diamonds are mpg since the last fill up. The curve is mpg since the very first fill up.

So what mpg should I say we were getting so we can compare mpg? The mpg/tankful on summer or winter diesel? The long term average of every gallon and every mile? The mpg number I see most often on the dash display?

My curve looks very similar to yours Funf, I have about 4K miles so far.

just a quick update.... from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, I averaged spot on 27.0 MPG. My speed was kept down a bit which helped with the MPGs, but it was still 60+ avg for the 275 miles.

I was in the stock 18s and I'll switch back to the 20's in the next couple of days.
