Flat Battery

Went to get in my X5 SD today and the battery was flat. I have had the car since Dec 2007 and have not had this problem before....the car was parked for two days and has certainly been left for much longer periods with no problem.

I've read some threads about battery discharge warnings which I have never had and there was no bluetooth phone left in it and the key fob is kept 30 yards away.

I am not sure whether to call BMW out or just jump start it myself. Probably best to call out BMW though I doubt they will have any diagnostics on the car to be able to tell what the problem is.
