Leaking Coolant
Even this morning, it was leaking when I pulled out of the garage. I can't seem to find anything with iDrive where it shows the coolant temp or level. And I saw an old thread from last year about radiators cracking and being backordered. Anyone had this problem lately?

I think 08 3.0L had an issue where the radiator had a leak (search the forum, I think I read it somewhere).

Took it in on Tuesday and I got it back today. They had to replace the radiator and installed new rear brake pads.
Had a nice 328i coupe as a loaner. Not bad. Cost: $0.00

Just pads? Since when does a BMW dealer not replace rotors too? |

When they did the fronts late last year, they replaced pads and rotors. Guess I got lucky.

Ask them if they will inspect the rotors for free to ensure they don't go below spec. Personally I replace parts when they are worn- rotors, pads- and I inspect them independently. But I do find the policy on this to be someone elastic at BMW, depending on who is paying and who is writing the work order... A |
