I like the painted bumpers much better than the black plastic. My black plastic was already fading when I got rid of mine with only 6000 miles on it.

NY Auto show and they put a puny 3 liter on display that my granny would drive. I realize they probably wanted to show the new diesel but couldn't they put a beefed up 4 liter on display with the M sport kit and staggered wheels? Or better yet an X5M?? Or did they have them there and just not in the pics??

Yeah, they should have put a better model on display, and the women are not impressive at all. Plus who was screwing with the rear view mirror before the bed sheet came off. Come on BMW, it's those little things that really matter, not mileage or horsepower.

On a side note, gotta love how BMW goes to all the trouble to make all the front lights appear clear only to have the DOT slap on some egg yolk bright yellow reflectors on the bumpers that stick out like sore thumbs.

I also didn't realize the strange shape of the rear lights until I saw that back end photo. Weird stuff.

Also just noticed... Michelin's. Wonder which ones?
