Everything is expensive when it's new on the market, they will become cheaper after a while.

I really like these: http://www.xoutpost.com/717152-post1.html but have no idea where to get them. I would also like to see what they look like lit up at night. I posted the question to the OP early last month but no reply. I do think they look really good on the AW (which I have too).

BTW, X5X - link would not work for me.

They look nice, but why would you make tail lights so dark? I'd think that would take away some of the lamps visibility and cause some tool that was too busy talking/texting on their cell from stopping in time and cause an accident.

I think that the tail lights look Very Nice with light tint on them, but those are too dark for my taste. I do agree that they look sharp on the AW!

That is just the tint film over the stock lights.

Thats just either tint vinyl or tint spray..
Spray- you can have it professionally done or buy the can online and do it urself
the Vinyl- get the precut vinyl from Lamin-x.com and apply it urself

Thanks hiren, I'll look into it further. Have to learn how easy it will come off after 3 yrs - lease! Also need to see how easy it would be to cut out the reverse lights (gets very dark here with no street lights and need reverse lights in a big way). Although, may not look good with reverse lights cut out. Have to think about it but may be worth $60 to experiment.
Guessing DMK's are sprayed because those don't look like overlays.

There is a member who did the lamin-x layover already... RH71 search him and click on his profile to see pics of his car- he did a really nice job. I am thinking about doing this since the whole job is reversible, and if you want to cut out the reverse light, it can be done with an exacto knife.
