When I changed my differential oil on my e90 I went to Amazon.com. Best price hands down for ALL fluids. Walmart also has great prices.

View the thread entitled FRONT DIFFERENTIAL FLUID FLUSH first. It's lower down on the first page on threads and it describes an entirely different method of accessing the front diff. ..unless of course the plug location in that post refers to the filling plug if there is such a thing. I have no experience with the differential but the picture you supplied looks very close to the location of the transfer box. I apologize if I am adding unnecessary confusion.
