conti DWS vs dedicated winter set up
I live in NYC, it snowed around 4 times last year and it was a "bad" winter - which means we got >12" twice in one year which rarely happens.
We dont ski or drive to Canada much ![]() I read the snow tires (dunlop grantreks, Pirelli ice/snow etc) are not great on dry pavement or even in the rain, get loud, hurt the handling and ride etc... While the Cont's seem to do well in all weather conditions. If I go dedicated, Ill get 18's. The conti's will be 20's and I will probably just keep them on till the lease is up (or they wear out - can I expect to get 25-30k miles from them?) Please chime in on you opinion on this. |

I just did this myself. Switched to the Conti's. Quiet so far, ride is a bit better, and should last a lot longer!
