New TPMS for 2010 X5 ?

Does the 2010 x35d have the new TPMS senor? I know the 1 and 3 series for 2010 has the new sensors. I am looking to get some new wheels and tires and going to keep my 18" as backup.

All cars sold in the US manufactured after 2008, I believe, MUST have TPMS. It's the law.
So to answer your question yes it will have TPMS.

They are not asking if it has TPMS but if it has the newest TPMS version. To answer that I don't know but I just got new wheels and ordered the tires and TPMS from tire rack and they got me the exact model I needed for my 2010. I have had them on a week with no problems.

They dont have the new sensors. I order them from Tischer and put them on my new wheels. But just to confirm I would email them your VIN and have them check it for you.

Try to talk to Jason Reighard. I just ordered a set of gloss black kidney grilles and other stuff from him.

I installed wheels/tires with TMPS from a '07 4.8 on my '10 X5d and they work fine. I was worried that the '10 models used the new sensors but evidently this is restricted so far to 1 and 3 series.
