I switched from a Cayenne Turbo S (Mk I) to a 2010 X5 M and never looked back, honestly. Drove the GTS a couple of times but compared to the Turbo S, the GTS was a joke. This is why I would highly recommend switching to the X5 M, it is a great truck. We have two kids and they already fell in love with it, the wife too.

There are no technical differences between the 2010 and 2011 X5 M, only the tail lights have a slightly different look and there are some new options available which have no influence whatsoever upon performance. Gearbox, drivetrain, engine, etc. are all the same for both model years.

You will be also very surprised to learn that the X5 M is a huge truck and offers even slightly more room inside than the GTS.

Keep in mind there's no adjustable air suspension in the X's. Only the auto leveling rear air suspension.

The GTS power isn't enough for what I desire. Would like a bit more room than the GTS interior, better seats, front and rear, more
legroom, front and rear, bigger trunk.

If the 2010-2011 BMW xm has all the above I am leaning towards that. Wish it was the 8 speed I think but not sure.

The new cayenne has the 8 speed with a better sport and better comort settings than it's previous model.
