Exhaust mod question................

I used the search and found nothing of substance, so I thought that I'd ask.

I remember ProvidenceLeaf doing his MagnaFlow muffler swap and it sounded good on the computer, but I was wondering how it would sound if I took out the resonators and installed an x-pipe in their place and kept the stock muffler.

I don't want any drone and wondered if dropping the resonators would cause it. The resonators have to be in there for a reason other than to make our SAV's sound weak. I think that with the looks of the X5, it should have some muscular sound to back it up!

What do you guys think?
