Tires & Sizes

I have an '07 X5 4.8 CPO. The original window sticker says I have the "ZSP" Sports Package w/ 19" wheels - a $3,600 option at the time. My rear tires are bald and need replacing. When I look online for sizing at tire stores, their sites universally tell me that the X5 4.8 w/ sports package has larger tires on the rear versus the front. Yet, all my tires are sized the same Michelin Latitude Tour HP ZP(255 50 19).

Any thoughts on what I should get?

I have the same package and the tires are the same size all around. The 20" optional wheel is staggered.
You should order the same size since the 19" wheels are not staggered.

The sports package comes with 19 in wheels (square set up, i.e. they are the same size all around). An option with the sports package is the 20 in staggered set up (diff size tires front/back). THis option was another 900 bucks when ordered. Many members upgrade their wheels to the 20 in 214 style (OEM or aftermarket).

Tire rack (and maybe others) only list the 20 in set up when you add the sport package. Just put in your tire size that you have now and see what is available.

Toyo Proxes STIIs

PROXES ST II | Toyo Tires

get the XL as they are the proper weight rating for your vehicle. 15 K on my current set and no complaints.

of course they are non-RFTs.
