This is typically how BMW takes one of their greatest achievements & screws it all up.

No thank you.

I think BMW mated the wheels from an '89 Buick with an '84 Oldsmobile, adopted the spawn and put them on the x5.

Those wheels f#$%ing suck! There is no other way to say it.

I just hope I am lucky enough to find someone selling a pre-owned individual with an exterior and interior I actually like because there is no way in hell I would pay $5k for it. For the most part, all the individual option does is give someone with too much money an option to screw up an otherwise good looking car. Some do get it right, however.

$5000 is not that much for a factory custom color, IMO. The question is: Is that the total price for color, interior leather improvements, wheels, etc. OR is it $5K just for the paint.

The color's is amazing, but the wheels need a little updating--they remind me of the wheels on a Delorean.

It is $5900 MSP in Canada, but for that price you get Individual paint colours, Individual wood trim, anthracite roof liner, satin aluminum shadowline trim, and a pearl leather instrument panel. It is just like a Premium Plus package, essentially. You also get access to the Style 265 19" wheels, at a small premium.
