New Tires Replacing Runflats

So I have about 18000 mile son my 214s and the Dunlop runflats are pretty much shot. The last couple thousand miles have been quite miserable driving the car. It doesnt track well and there is a lot of tire noise. I really don't want runflats again. I dont think they perform well, they dont last long and they are expensive. I am just worried about getting a flat with no spare. What kind of tires are you guys running. Brand/model etc?

-4 on the Continental Contact. We got rid of them all on the 5 series and got Michelins. We Put Michelins on the X5 as well.

I think you are talking about a different Conti Contact. They make numerous tires.

I replaced my 20's non RF Michelin Latitude with the Contis DWS, both tires offer the same grip and ride comfort (Way better than runflats)
Road noise is barely noticeable.

Possibly; but If i have seriously trouble with more than
one tire in a brand I tend to shy away from the product.
