RD LEDs Installed

I have these on my M3 and they help the interior so much. The brightness of them isn't so intense as seem in some of the pics, it's just hard to capture. It's a nice white glow, away from that nasty stock yellow as much as possible. I'm looking for bulbs to replace the back seat reading lights.

LUX's are on order. I have their first version on my M3, where everything is inside the headlight. Was apprehensive on this "revised" version but it's the best of the LED\bulb option and not as many parts as the HID AE, which have uneven light output. I have been real happy with them on my M3. Also wished they didn't change the color from 6000-6500k. I like the lower ratings = purer white.

Why do you ask?

Just wondering, I'm looking for an easy plug and play LED angel solution but not sure if one exists.

I'd really like to try these:
LED 6 Watt Angel Eye Bulbs by City Vision Lighting

There was a member who said he installed them this weekend on his e70 but waiting to hear back from him on the daytime brightness.

I talked to the sales guy at ModBargains (who's black e92 is pictured on the page) and he claims they are very bright in daytime. ModBargains is local to me so I may drive down there and check out his setup...

Be careful of straight bulb swaps and their claimed day brightness. It just isn't there. GP Thunders are absent during the day. There was a huge comparison on M3post and Lux came out on top. From users that have had all the available options, outside of breaking into your headlights and changing out the rings.

Thanks.
It's no trouble, each piece just pops out. Takes 5 mins total for all eight.

Awesome Job Epacy! I want to do the same. Are you planning to do the ones on the inside of the tailgate and if so are they the same?

For the LUX H8, I have the updated ones with the fuse inline. Just a few days ago the right unit went out. The 2A fuse was blown so I replaced it with a new one. Started the car up and no lights still. Checked again and fuse was blown. So im guessing there is an enternal short inside the power supply. Called NAM and they said to return and they will send out a whole new set.

Ok, so I need two more for the trunk. The lights are on the backside of the tailgate and are the same as all the rest. So that makes 5 sets total.

I just figured the license plate lights were LEDs but they aren't. Weird since my 2008 M3 has them. So, looks like I will be changing those out as well, thanks BMW - how can they still be the nasty yellow??? They are a different formfactor but the PYSPEED site has those as well.
