Removing rear emblem rondell

Does anyone know how to remove the rear emblem?

paqs is on a distinguished road
I believe there are clips at the back behind the trim panel and also double sided tape onto the paint. Remove the clips then pull if off.

Yes its all one piece, the chrome surround and emblem are joined.

996/699 is on a distinguished road
just did this. I used hair dryer, plastic interior panel removal tools and soft cloth. Heat the entire emblem for few minutes till hot. Then using a plastic, non marring interior plastic panel removal tool start prying it off at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions. takes no time at all.

is the rear emblem the same size as the front? the one i got from ebay front and rear emblems are the same size

Do you remove only the roundel or did you remove the chrome trim too? Gotta paint the chrome piece (mine is flaking badly) and wasn't sure if the entire assembly is removed this way.

It is all one piece.
