Perfectly said. In all my many, many BMWs, Mercedes, Porsches, Range Rovers, Audi....twice I "needed" to go to Lexus, to let the "reliability" wounds heal from having to deal with German & British cars. My 2 Lexus Rxs were the ONLY 2 cars I have ever owned that did NOT have one tiny problem, issue or concern! That being said, and I've said it many times on this Forum...I have also never been more bored out of my f***ing mind!

This 35d is my 5th X5 since 2004. 2 of those have been dismal, I mean simply dreadful. But I've had (6) 3 Series, and only 1 of those has been dismal. 3 Mercedes MLs, and all 3 were such a headache! 3 Range Rovers, 1 was a nightmare, 1 was kind of ok and 1 perfect! Audi was so so. Porsche was almost excellent.

So IMO, ALL cars are going to have issues and need attention, including Lexus. But, Lexus does seem to be much, much more reliable. If getting from point A to B is important to you (in luxury of course), but driving fun is not important...I have nothing but praise and recommendation for Lexus!!

You bought a used Range Rover - any of us buying a new X5 could easily afford a used RR instead (and most here could afford a new one). You only could afford it for 4 months, obviously didn't get enough "jealous looks" (LOL, you cruise through Walmart parking lots or something?), and are now on to the next metallic-substitute-for-a-personality.

Looking for an automatic with that Carrera?

How is it your not dead by now with your lack of intelligence combined with all the apparent jealousy you're surrounded with?

Comparing RR and X5's is apples and oranges (or should I say lemons). RRS do not even qualify with their cramped interior and garbage handling. They are trying to be sporty to no avail, because they just aren't.

Your used rrs was worth 40k tops. Why are you preaching to us about not being able to afford one, when you bought used. I have a bright idea! Why don't you skip on up to the roof and jump off lol
