Driving together with a BMW X5 4.8I or even X5 ///M top of a line. I can assure you the Range Rover will get all the attention and the X5 will be just another BMW on the road. But everyone has their opinion and who knows maybe after this one I may come back to BMW. I'm not a Fanboy so I switch everything. 30 Cars later in life, I've tried every highline brand and continue to do so in future. Don't be a hater guys.

I did stop by the local BMW Dealer to Service to sign a co-sign on my car for sale. Here are some pictures to relax you fanboys out there.

I am neither a hater nor jealous haha. In fact these things are so whack range rover had an incentive to give me 3500 for switching from a bmw on top of cap cost reduc's and it still wasn't worth it. 80K he says that thing is worth 40k tops. The new ones go for around 66k. Believe it or not I actually value my x5's rather obscure nature. I have enough trouble in that department already I don't know who told you the rrs was "above" anything except maybe a mechanic or two, but I think I know your mentality and its sad. And just curious...you do not drive your cars past 40k but you buy them at 35? Weird. Cheers

The nav and electronics would go black for no reason. The bluetooth connectivity was terrible. The "cooler storage" box under the front arm rest is useless and doesn't keep anything cold (room temperature at best). The X5 has 3rd row seats which I needed and has more power (and worse gas mileage). Lastly, dealer service on the RR was terrible - not even close to a luxury experience; long wait to get in for service; no loaner cars. BMW service here is fantastic.

This is the EXACT reason I got rid of mine last month. Had a whopping 12K on it and I had all of the same issues you mentioned above. WHen I see one, i miss it because it is definitley a sexy beast. I was willing to overlook the pain in the ass Bluetooth that would allow me to call people, but not hear a thing (got me trouble once when my wife found out how much I paid for football tickets cause I called her accidentally, didn't know it and she heard the whole thing), but after my screen went black, twice, it was on the chopping block.

Now think back to all the other conversations you had that MAY have been overheard! but you don't know about yet.

I don't use the hands-free bluetooth anymore. Everyone says I sound like I'm in a toilet bowl.
