Looks great, I have the same 2011 with M package, only it's white with oyster leather, fully loaded and 20's. I am sure that you are enjoying the M ride, handling and look as mush as I am.

AH!! It just occurred to me why they made the front orange reflectors larger/longer on the NA cars with the LCI: they needed to allow for those front cameras! This may have been discussed on the forum before but I don't spend a lot of time on this forum these days, so I may have missed prior discussions on this. I had only seen pics of the LCI E70 in Euro versions with the front cameras there on the fenders by themselves; in conjunction with the NA reflectors, the larger reflectors on the NA cars without the cameras suddenly make sense.
To the OP: car looks great. However, I think you need to find a set of staggered 20s ASAP (214s or 336s). The 19s (and any of the 19s, for that matter) just don't look quite right with the fender flares IMO.

in winter driving are the side cameras likely to be covered with road salt/snow rendering them useless?

Congrats! looks great. Nice to see side-view cameras on front fenders on white X5.
But go for 336, 333 or 215s (if 21"). 214s are getting old. Wrap the stock wheels with winter tires. |

That could be said about the rear and top view cams. There are going to be weather conditions that will cover any of the small cameras up. No body is going to be relying on the cams 100% of the times.... so its all good.

Its too bad the Canadian 35i does not come with the 20's. I was really hoping for the 333's. |

interesting with the side view cameras going into the slot like that. Looks a bit weird with the white though... would look very nicely integrated with a black.

forgive my ignorance..i see the use of the reverse camera and side camera's, but whats the front camera used for? *waits for inappropriate comment*
Is it for poking your head out in traffic to see whats coming from either side before pulling out? |
