Acceleration
per BMW quoted 0-60 from 6.3 (48i) to 5.1 (50i). From my personal experience this is very accurate. The new 50i is significantly faster off the line than my old 48i (2007 model). Everyone who has driven both says the same thing, plus the sound, the new one is much more throatier and makes its V8 known.
