Anyone painted rear bumper aero kit black?

I have a 2010 Silver X5 35d. I bought a tow kit and painted it silver but haven't mounted it yet. When I showed a silver E70 to my wife that was on the road, she hated the way the body colored tow kit broke up the black bumper. We both happen to like the black bumpers.

That led us to a thought. What if we painted the rear aero kit matte black to complement the rear bumper?

I plan on doing the tow kit and I like the way the aero kit covers up the unsightly hole created on the OEM bumper to accomodate the tow hitch.

Pictures would be great if anyone has them.

Thanks.

As an additional thought, can someone photoshop that rear shot of the aero kit, but painted matte black?

Then what's the point of getting an aero kit if you want to paint it in a plastic matt finish? The whole point of an aero kit is to break up the blackness.

For me, it's in part to cover up the gaping, unfinished hole left from putting in the tow hitch.
