Now for the fun. The transfer case on the X frequently do NOT have a magnetic drain or fill plug. You can buy them for a reasonable price from Cobratransmission.com in Miami.

The differential's also are lacking - the BEST are from a guy in North Carolina (http://www.drainplugmagnets.com) who sells them on the internet. Lifetime oil in a compartment with no filter, very scary.

Hey guys, I just finished uploading a new video to showcase how to drain and flush the transfercase (transfer case) for a 2005 E53 X5. At the end, I even show how to use GT1 / DIS to perform the adaptions reset.
