afnetman is on a distinguished road
I need to remove the head rests on both seats in the front of my BMW X5, it is a 2004 sports make. In this discussion I believe there are two different headrests being referenced to (Active and normal). I do not believe my is an Active as I think that is referring to having an entertainment display in the back of the headrest. So my question is to remove the headrest on a normal seat did I read correct that I should raise the rest as high as it will go and then force it straight up our of the plastic receptical as Weasel described above? I want to put on seat covers that require the removal of the headrests.
